GlobalFoundries Singapore

On September 12, 2023, GlobalFoundries officially opened its US$4 billion (S$5 billion) expanded fabrication plant in Singapore. Covering 23,000 square meters, this facility stands as one of Singapore’s most advanced semiconductor plants. The building’s design emphasises sustainability, earning Green Mark Gold status for both the Administration and Manufacturing buildings from Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority. It is equipped with the latest technologies to manage resources and waste, recycle and reuse water, and enhance overall energy efficiency.
