Sustainability
Our Environmental Efforts
By embracing sustainable practices, we aim to minimise resource consumption, reduce waste generation, and promote the responsible use of energy throughout our operations. Our commitment to conservation of our natural resources extends to the strict monitoring of how it is used in our manufacturing processes, disposed of or recycled, so as to minimise negative impacts on the environment
Our People
We believe that our greatest strength lies in our people. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that values and respects individuals’ contributions, experiences, and perspectives. We continuously invest in our employees’ professional development, well-being, and safety, ensuring a supportive and empowering work environment.

How we’re making a difference
We’re committed to sustainability through enhancing energy efficiency, cutting waste, and sourcing responsibly to protect the planet for future generations.
Energy & Emissions
We strive to enhance energy efficiency across our operations by conducting regular energy assessments, implementing energy-saving technologies, and fostering a culture of energy conservation among employees. Our efforts include upgrading to energy-efficient equipment, optimising processes, and exploring the use of renewable energy sources. In FY2023, our Singapore operations consumed 23,564 GJ of energy. Following TCFD recommendations, we started tracking and reporting our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, with Scope 1 and 2 emissions totaling 2482 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e), primarily from fuel and electricity use. These initiatives aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change. As part of our strategy to reduce emissions, we will transition from internal combustion engine vans to electric vans for all future purchases.
Water & Efficiency
Our approach to water use and efficiency emphasises responsible stewardship and sustainable practices. We are committed to conserving natural resources through strict monitoring of water usage in manufacturing, ensuring minimal environmental impact by recycling and proper disposal. Regular checks help identify high water consumption areas, allowing us to implement measures to reduce waste and optimise usage. This includes adopting water-efficient technologies, optimising processes, and fostering a culture of conservation among employees. In FY2023, we tracked water consumption at our Singapore operations, consuming 12.63 megaliters of third-party water, used primarily for equipment cooling. All water was recycled, with no effluent discharge from our sites, and any discharged water complied with local regulations.
What’s Next?
In FY2024, we will continue to monitor and measure our energy consumption, GHG emissions, and water consumption to establish baseline data. Once we have a better understanding of these baselines, we will set specific reduction targets for both emissions and water usage.
